About the Role

This is a part-time UX/UI Designer position. We're looking for a creative designer with 1+ years of professional experience who is ready to take their design skills to the next level and work on diverse, high-impact projects.

A big benefit of this role is the 1-on-1 mentorship and collaboration. You'll work directly with our creative director and co-founder on real client projects and our own products. You won't be just pushing pixels; you'll be involved in the full design process from user research and wireframes to final UI implementation. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to grow their portfolio and skills in a supportive, creative environment.

Time Commitment

We're looking for 15-20 hours per week and could be more if you are interested. The schedule is 100% flexible to work around other commitments. We are based in Philadelphia but work can be done remotely. This position requires the designer to be U.S. based.

Compensation

The rate is $2,000 - $3,500/month (as a 1099 contractor), depending on experience and skill level.

  • Diverse Industries: Tech startups, non-profits, entertainment, healthcare, and more

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of professional design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance)
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and user-centered design
  • Proficiency in Figma (required) and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience designing for web and mobile
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design skills and creative thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain design decisions
  • Bonus: Experience with design systems, prototyping, and basic HTML/CSS knowledge
